Entry #6
Zero-carbon Communities in Ginza Sony Park
Akihisa Kimura
A plan to operate multiple services (including ideas submitted to the Phase 1 Competition) in and around Sony Park using renewable energy. Surplus energy is bought from local citizens and businesses, which are used to operate drones, electric vehicles, digital displays, 3D printers, and other facilities that provide services to visitors. A consortium led by Sony takes charge of the entire initiative.
