Rebuilding Urban Communities with Renewable Energy

A proposal to let citizens provide surplus electricity (produced through solar panels, etc.) to the local community, in exchange for regional currency. The regional currency can be used at local shopping malls, sport facilities, etc. Surplus electricity from citizens is used to power public services (such as community shuttles), or sold to the grid.
