Entry #7
PEOPLE PLAY PARKING
Ryoma Yukawa
Converts parking lots (whose use is expected to dwindle in central Tokyo) into temporary stores. Aspiring shopowners first need to secure a small fund through crowdfunding to prove citizen support. The organizers rent out self-contained stands to shopowners for a small fee. Shopowners also pay hourly fees to the parking lot owners.
